Gaye Su Akyol

Gaye Su Akyol is a Turkish singer, painter, and anthropologist born in 1985 in Istanbul. She gained recognition for blending various music styles, including psychedelic rock, post-punk, surf music, and Anatolian rock. She started her music career after studying anthropology and pursuing painting, initially performing in bands before launching her solo career in 2014.

Her discography includes several albums praised for their innovative style. Akyol is also noted for her contributions to film soundtracks and her role as a significant figure in the LGBTQI+ community.

Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys

Paul Plut (Au)

Paul Plut is an Austrian singer-songwriter whose music delves into themes of life’s darker aspects, blending them with folklore and introspective lyrics. Ioana Iorgu: A Fusion of Raw Emotion and Diverse Sounds

Ioana Iorgu, a dynamic independent music producer, self-taught guitarist, bassist, and drummer, is set to electrify our festival with her profound musical talent. Starting her journey in Malaysia with her school’s rock band, Ioana has evolved into a prolific artist, releasing her first instrumental album in 2015, and exploring genres from shoegaze to post-punk, characterized by dissonant guitar riffs and raw vocals. With albums like Thick Skin and Mean Time, and singles such as Porto and Liar, Ioana’s music reflects a deep dive into the complexities of emotion and life. Performing in over 30 cities in The Netherlands and being highlighted as the Nevermind the Hype talent act in Popronde 2023, her live performances, supported by a session drummer, promise an unforgettable experience.

Gunshee, hailing from the vibrant musical landscape of Romania, embodies the essence of instrumental progressive rock with a distinctive twist that captivates and mesmerizes. Their music is a masterful fusion of complex compositions, unparalleled musicianship, and groundbreaking soundscapes, all delivered without the need for vocals. Getchoo: Evolving Indie-Rock Sensation

Getchoo emerges as an indie-rock band, initially the solo endeavor of Victor Gavrilă, who expressed personal struggles and introspections through a DIY bedroom-pop EP. This project, born from his frustration with his first band’s stagnation, resonated with themes of growth, heartbreak, and future anxieties. With the addition of three members, the band, composed of Victor, Daniel, Bucur, and David—friends united by the Bucharest music scene—embraces a richer sound, weaving indie rock with post-punk and power pop influences, and continues to evolve musically and thematically.

Gipsy Caravan is a dynamic group of young musicians from Hosman, dedicated to supporting the new generation of talented Roma youth and beyond through their non-profit organization, Caravana Gipsy Jazz. Founded in 2017, this initiative aims to help young individuals shape their futures with the power of music and other activities. Their repertoire is a vibrant mix of jazz, Balkan tunes, and traditional gypsy music, offering a unique and captivating musical experience.
